We have been looking forward to this day for a LONG time!!! Friday was Jackson's first day of Preschool! He was pretty pumped and was a good sport with me taking pictures :)

This is my current subway art sign in my kitchen--just for Jackson!
Jackson's first art project! As promised, he was super excited to take it out of his backpack to show us :)
We did not get a ton of details, but here's what we know:
We dropped Jackson off at 9:30, and he went right in! I cannot believe what a difference a year makes! At this time last year, I was hoping we would sign Jackson up for preschool, but not sure at all how he would do. At that time he was fine being left as long as a friend was there. Lots of Jackson's friends are in preschool, but nowhere close to our house, so I didn't know how it would go. Now, I didn't even give it a second thought--he did great!!! Mrs. Hughes said he had a wonderful day when we picked him up. Apparently they had Goldfish for snack, and Jackson had his allotted two servings, but didn't get any more (they only get seconds since it's just a snack). The art project was to color in the teddy bear and glue on the colored balloons with his classmates' names on them. He was super excited about it!
It was pretty crazy getting lunch in him and then getting him down for a nap, but we did it. I'm sure it will get easier once we hammer out a schedule. He also barely took a nap... Not a welcome change after the four and three hour naps Jackson took earlier this week :( Again, I know this will all work itself out. I am just so thankful he had a great first day and can't wait to go back :)
