I cannot believe SIX YEARS ago we were getting ready to go to the hospital to meet this guy!!! This has been a BIG year: Jackson lost his first two teeth, learned how to whistle AND snap, started Kindergarten, began riding a two-wheeler, and is reading up a storm! We can't wait to see what the next year holds for our sweet, funny, smart, inquisitive, sporty and all around awesome snuggle buggle!!!
We started the morning with pumpkin banana bread in the shape of a Lego Minifigure :)
Of course we kept the party decorations up to enjoy on Jackson's ACTUAL birthday!
We met Jackson at school to eat lunch with him! It was so fun to meet up with him and sit at the special table. Towards the end of lunchtime, Jackson handed out his birthday treat: Danimal Smoothies!
At lunch, Jackson showed us the special pencils he had gotten in the office and from the cafeteria!
While Jackson was at school, I arranged a playdate for him and Izzy! He was so excited when I met him at the bus and started walking him the other way down the street... After he played for a while, we walked down to pick him up, and on the way home, Mr. Dave was doing some car maintenance. He let Jackson assist with some of the lug nuts. He LOVED it!
We got back home and loaded up for dinner at Chick fil a! After filling our bellies with yumminess and playing, we came home for bedtime after a fun-filled day celebrating the baby boy that made us Mommy and Daddy :)
